It is happening again. Awards season is upon us.
The AVN Awards Nominations arrived on the internet yesterday, setting both twitter and, I don't know...some other website probably...abuzz with congratulatory tweets, premature acceptance speeches and all of the usual hubbub that surrounds these terribly vital awards. The usual suspects fared well (Jules Jordan, Elegant Angel, Timo), and once again, POPPORN found themselves lucky enough to receive a couple of nods.
Don't worry, we've got no plans to win any of them.
What with all the bitch-ass righteous jams we've written and sexually inserted into our movies, it seemed like maybe we ought to give you folks a chance to appreciate them outside of their pornographic settings. We're really pushing for a best original song award this year, because lord knows we haven't bitched about that one enough yet.
That said, please enjoy today's downloadable gem (after the jump), The Official Revenge of the Nerds Parody Theme Song.
Hey, remember a week or two ago when we unleashed the bitch-ass magnificent trailer for our upcoming parodopus (parody + opus), The Official Revenge of the Nerds Parody? Well, you can go ahead and forget the fuck about that one, because the trailer we're unleashing today is gonna knock it's fuckin' block off!
This is it, folks. The movie's shot, edited and adorned with classy-ass cover art. While there's always the chance that God may reach down from Mount Doom and smack us back a few notches (which happens more often than you might think), this movie's all set to whomp it's way onto your porno shelf. It's all happening in a few scant weeks, so prepare yourself.

Seriously. Caravaggio, Michelangelo, Rembrandt? Morons.
Sure, the walls of the world's finest museums are plastered with the arts of these, "so-called" art-eests but celebration of the old and decayed is a symptom of society's unwillingness to forge into new territories of evolution and creative stimulation. Ultimately, as a people, we are dictated to by supposed experts on the merits of talents long rendered to dust by time.
Well, folks, the Official Revenge of the Nerds Parody is just about wrapped. We've got a few minor tweaks to whomp out tonight after we re-watch that episode of Twin Peaks where Leland kills Maddy (spoiler alert!), and then the thing gets shipped off tomorrow to sunny california where it will be assembled into a magnificently sellable morsel of commerce. If all goes according to plan (and everything in this business always goes according to plan), this thing should be hitting the shelves in a few scant weeks.
But we realize that's a long time to wait. So we thought we'd offer this video exclusive.
The scene above features a few celebrity voice artists who jumped aboard at the last minute to assist us in completing the movie. Listen hard, maybe you'll recognize them!

And the hits just keep rollin'...
Last week, BUCKTON and I were out in Los Angeles to shoot our upcoming Official Revenge of the Nerds Parody. It's coming out in April and ended up being one insane shoot. There's really too much that went wrong on set to try and explain, however, for everything that went wrong, there was a mutually rewarding thing that went right to make up for it. While the shoot days were long and pretty grueling, we were able to snap a few sweet photos from set to show to you here. Thankfully, BUCKTON stepped in to describe what's going on in each of these photos because frankly, I was accidentally roofied on set and spent most of the time trying to pick up on inanimate objects. Odd. Nonetheless, this movie is going to be pretty fucking epic and we'll be giving you updates pretty regularly as we go into post-production. And off we go...

You know that old saying, "When It Rains It Pours"? Well, this week proves once again that cliche's, while annoying are often times true.
As you might have read on this here blog or via other, more reputable adult news outlets, POPPORN is back in the movie making saddle. This week, we'll be heading out to Los Angeles once again as not one, but two of our films will be made. It's been a while since we shot our last film, the multiple award nominated (and multiple award losing) teen drama Delinquents so we're pretty excited to be producing once again.
