Lizz is awesome. She's a really close friend and has the best sense of humor ever. This is evidenced by the fact that last week we decided to go to this goth club that we (the collective we, as in the whole big extended group of people I hung out with when I was a teenager) used hang out at because kids are allowed in. This has something to do with the fact that they only open the downstairs bar on those nights. The reason we were going was to have dress up night, and dress up night is much more fun with a theme. Important fact: I haven't been there since I was a teenager.

Planning to do this was so much fun. The whole day leading up to getting dressed time was so much fun. The act of putting on an amazingly EGL get up and putting my hair in pigtails was fun. Texting each other about wardrobe choices, exactly how far we were going to go with our costumes and debating drawing things on our faces with eyeliner was fun. The actual drawing on faces with eyeliner was especially fun.

What's missing from this list of things that were fun?

Yep. Actually going. That was not so fun. I mean, it was kind of nifty to be allowed into the bar part where all my older friends used disappear to throughout the night. Maybe not being allowed in there for years and years and always wondering what was so special about the bar built it up in my head too much. Especially since really what's so special about the bar is the alcohol, and alcohol really isn't that special. Maybe next time we should do this and just run around in the park.

However, dropping our drinks to run to the parking lot, laugh about how we are totally lame poseurs now while un-doing our corsets and heading to Lizz's house for pajamas and movie night, that was VERY fun. Also, running around WaWa in a bra and crinoline was wildly entertaining.

This has nothing to do with sex, but does make for a really good excuse to post the attached three (count them, three) silly pictures from PhotoBooth and my phone.
