Look, we love Florida. It's a wasteland of strip-malls, humidity and the elderly. Add in the fact that they were the impetus for this 8-year Bush Presidency and it becomes clear why the news is just that much more retarded out of the Sunshine State.

According to NWFDaily, a lawyer for fired Okaloosa County teacher Jerome McIntosh wants a retraction from Superintendent of Schools Alexis Tibbetts.

McIntosh was canned for inappropriate Internet usage. Tibbetts claimed McIntosh was looking at "soft porn."

But McIntosh's attorney, Anthony Demma, says calling the pics "soft porn" was "inaccurate and needlessly inflammatory, bordering on defamatory."

The images tagged on McIntosh's computer came from Maxim, Hogwild.com, Sports Illustrated and Askmen.com.

We probably wouldn't call them soft porn, either. But we wouldn't exactly call it schoolwork.

And what brought McIntosh to the school board's attention - his AdultFriendFinder.com photo began anonymously circulating through school.

Also in Florida, WFTV Channel 9 reports that parents and children in Seminole County got a rude awakening when their elementary school Web site was accidentally linked to a porn site. One of the school's business partners is Lasting Image Studios (anniversaries, school portraits and more!) but the link instead went to LastingImages.com, whose photos are a bit less, "professional."

"I was speechless. I was absolutely horrified and so was my daughter. She said, 'Mom!'" a woman told Channel 9.

"If she kept clicking, I can only imagine what we would have seen and read," the parent said.

Well, she probably wouldn't have read much but she would have seen some giant zoobs!
