Uh-oh. The gauntlet’s getting chucked down. Folks be beefin’. Stakes is high. And so on.

As you may know, this "patient zeta" thing is still causing some major waves in the porno industry. Cameron Reid made some unfriendly comments about the AIM Heathcare, about the nature of the porn industry in general, and about the agencies that represent porn performers. In his comments, Mr. Reid stated very strongly that he absolutely, definitely, without a doubt contracted the HIV virus while working on an adult picture. I believe he specifically stated that some semen leaked into his anus after a guy climaxed on his back during a scene. He’s stated that this is most certainly the case, it's irrefutable, and that the only time he’s had sex in his personal life was with his girlfriend. And that he most certainly has never been employed as an escort.

And if it’s true, this should mean nothing at all. "But there are some folks out there who don’t necessarily believe him. One of those folks is the well-known industry agent Mark Spiegler, of the aptly-named Spiegler Girls agency. So Mr. Spiegler’s decided to fire back at Mr. Reid with this open letter, which we’re about to present.

So there we go. I'd really like to get to the bottom of this, because it seems like stuff's getting a little bit out of hand. If he's telling the truth about everything, heck, maybe we should all take a serious look at safety within the industry. Because I don't think anybody wants shit like this to keep happening. But if he's not telling the truth about his actions, well, that would make it seem (to me at least) that a lot of the finger-pointing comments he's made about certain people and agencies might be a wee bit out of line.

I'm not particularly expecting a response from Reid on this, but I'd certainly be enthralled if I saw one. I'd also like to see a video between Reid and Spiegler that plays out like the one between Axl Rose and Vince Neil. I'd also like to see Matt Fraction write something with Thanos in it.

I'd also really like to see a porno movie where everyone wears face shields and goggles, as LA County is trying to mandate. That would be funny.
