For me the Impulse Flexi Dolphin was more therapeutic, rather than sexually satisfying. While alone, I just slipped it in and set it to my favorite setting-- which is this really awesome rhythmic vibration (click no. 6). Complicated toys with buttons and multiple settings and features give me a headache to try to use solo, so my partner made an attempt at using it on me. But it was more obnoxious than anything.
