You might recall around this time last year, we posted an article about the annual IVD/ECN warehouse show held in lovely Hightstown, NJ for adult store owners, vendors, retailers and the like. What made that article so interesting is that it was actually a rant about how POPPORN.com, located only 40 minutes away in Philadelphia, PA had NOT been invited to the annual gala. Sure, we might not have technically deserved to be there, but honestly, we like free shindigs with food and alcohol and thus, we felt we deserved an invite.

In case you weren't familiar, IVD (International Video Distributors) and ECN (East Coast News) are two of the largest adult entertainment distributors in the freakin' universe. They provide smut to about one billion adult stores and various retailers and as one of the last, big time distributors still in business during this more than brutal economic meltdown that's saying something.

You know what else is saying something? Them trickstaz invited us this year to not only raid their warehouse (we did) but to celebrate their 25th anniversary in business. Please, take a moment to clap. You can clap for us being invited or for their anniversary, we leave that decision in your capable hands.

Nonetheless, we headed up to the show and grooved out on IVD/ECN's warehouse for about 30 minutes before asking when we were going to the bar. Not to say the warehouse wasn't impressive, it was, it's just that so is drinking. With that we headed over to a real swell hotel with a bar in the lobby and got to drinkin' with some studio reps, some performers and some random store owners from all over the globe.

Nikki Benz unleashed a torrent of insults on us due to a perceived snubbing some months back. We couldn't really remember the snubbing, but we learned it's best to just agree with Nikki. She's kind of awesome and can punch really hard. Wicked contract star Alektra Blue and New Sensations contract star Ashlynn Brooke were also in town for the event. We convinced them to buy us drinks because we were able to get a hold of their purses and ransom is a bitch. Also in town for the show were Tori Black, Nina Hartley, Pinky, A.J. Bailey and whole slew of others. Tom Byron was in town as well. Tom Byron. The king.

Anywhat, we played fake casino games all night, talked shop and business (no, they aren't the same thing) and danced. POPPORN fucking loves to dance. The IVD/ECN crew showed everyone a really great time, proving once again that there is a reason for some business to be successful. Strong relationships, good business and a lot of alcohol.

Congrats to IVD and ECN. Many more years to you as long as you keep inviting us.
